Common Chords: The new generation of Chilean classical music - Sun, Sept 20
The Spectacle Collective Quartet with Scott Hill, guitar, will perform the world premieres of works written for Spectacle Collective by a group of up and coming Chilean composers mentored by award winning composer and guitarist, Javier Farías.
These new works present explorations of both South American folk and Western Classical music styles.

Sounds of the Andes - Sat, Jun 1
Spectacle Collective presents an evening of musical fusion featuring the Alturas Duo and Gonzalo Cortés.
Alturas Duo consists of Carlos Boltes, viola and charango, Scott Hill, guitar, and voice, and will be joined by Gonzalo Cortés, Andean woodwinds, and western flute. The trio will take time to introduce the audience to the variety of Andean and classical instruments that they perform on, as well as share insight from their vast experience of the Andean folkloric oral tradition.
